Hey guys,
So as you can probably tell from my Username, I am a DJ. Yes a real life professional DJ with 5 years of experience playing at clubs, many house parties, etc etc. I DJ Mostly Electronic Dance Music and have a wide variety of music sub-genre's of Electronic Dance Music. So I'm wondering what the players of Pika-Network like for a musical sub-genre of EDM! Is it Dubstep? Bassline? Drum and Bass (Dark or Liquid)? Who Knows! So I'm going to be putting up a poll here in this post and I'll be playing the most popular music more often. (You may select up to two choices in this poll as I don't particularly have a favorite myself I'm sure you don't either.) I also have some examples below for those of you who don't actually know the differences between the Sub-Genres!
I will also be thinking about doing Live DJ sets and streaming those to TeamSpeak bi-monthly. My musical choice is Deep Dub, Techno, Deep Tech, Tech House, Dark Electro House, and really any genre that makes you feel "dirty, grimy, and just down right nasty". I encourage all the listeners of my live sets to "get deep into" the music. Grrrr in your face! ;P
Here are the examples of Sub-Genre's of EDM that I'm willing to play on TeamSpeak, and I'm always up for more suggestions. If you have any suggestions of sub-genres, please reply to this thread and tell me what you want to hear!
