perm ban expired

So today i was exploring the pikanetwork website when i stumbled upon punishments section and i searched for my account that was perm banned and i saw that the ban had expired (unbanned to be exact). how is this possible?
FAQS from previous threads that i read about this:
1. I was perm banned by a staff
2. I was not filtered by anti vpn filter
3. I did not buy an unban

They were banned on the server not on the forums, they didn't do anything that'd count as ban evasion.
