Detailed description:

I feel like to be a youtube rank the community must understand the player and what kind of player he/she is before seeing a random youtube rank in the server. We must be able to know their channel and what kind of content they upload. Though we won't be able to directly upvote/downvote I feel like the staff would get a wider view of what the community wants.

I feel like community should be able to take part in the decision making of youtube rank.​

While I agree pika has been accepting a lot of randoms for yt rank I still dont think the community should get a "say" in who gets yt rank. This is mainly because pika is an extremely wide community and for example most factions players have never heard of someone like a practice main or prison main and they shouldn't be denied of their rank just because theyre not known on all gamemodes or on a gamemode with a lot more members. Second personal beef clouds judgement and people with "influence" as we'll call it can heavily impact the selection. Lastly what credentials does the average player have to judge a yt rank selection.


<edit> when I say influence I mean like a large faction or a well known player understand you don't mean implementing a voting system, but a large amount of people CAN be controlled by one group which is why we shouldn't have a say about yt rank same as staff selection.

Never said they should be known. This ain't a trial app which requires stuff like 30hrs of online time and all that bs. If you meet the requirements there is no reason why you should get denied right? Ultimately its the community who will watch the videos and not the staff.

Also a player has no right to tell a person on what to upload so that point of your's is into the bin. If a person cries that a person doesn't upload factions then he is either a 10 year old, or is madly immature. All I'm saying is we should be able to see what kind of content is upcoming.

I dont know what its like in skyblock or prison but if youre a random in facs piping up u get no respect. Same goes for yt rank if an entire gamemode is against you because they dont know you that would be quite unfair. Each ytber has a target audience understand that

I would disagree, there was a op faction poll on forums, there was 3 options, 1st option won but almost all known op faction players voted for the 3rd option and they all agreed that 3rd would be the best, so there was like 15 randoms that voted and most of them probably rarely play factions, and yeah you see mostly known players on forums but that's because soo many people don't reply or make posts just read them, and they vote in global polls, and it's not like a known player plays all of the gamemodes, I don't play faction nor survival and I'm always on the forums.

The YouTube rank requirements are clear. Everyone who meets them can get the rank. There's no need for the community to have any influence in whether someone will get the rank or not.

staff are part of the community, also, if you want to say that someone would have to be immature for them to do a certain action, just say they have to be immature, don't say they are 10 years old. Plenty of 10 year olds are more mature then me or you
