Suggestion:
Justice for Scams

Detailed description:
In SkyMines and some other Pika gamemodes where Seasonal Keys are non-physical, trading them safely is nearly impossible.
Players earn these keys by voting daily — for example:
🎯 100 votes = 1000 iron = 1 Seasonal Key

However, these keys cannot be placed, auctioned, or held physically.
💰 Gold is also not tradable, meaning players can’t directly exchange gold for keys through the in-game trade GUI.

So players are forced to trust-trade — one person sends the key first, and the other promises to send gold afterward.
😕 This opens a major loophole for scammers who simply take the key, open it, and never pay.

This suggestion aims to add a Scam-Proof Compensation System exclusively for non-physical keys, to protect honest players and ensure fairness.

Reason(s):
✨ The main reason this system is needed is that trust-trading non-physical keys creates an unsafe and unfair trading environment — especially for new or low-ranked players.

Here’s what happened in my personal case 👇

🎥 I was playing OPLifesteal, and someone offered to buy my Seasonal Key (which i bought for 1000 iron).
They first offered 200 gold, but since the key is worth about equal to 450 gold in the gold shop, I asked for more.
They agreed to pay 400 gold, and I even recorded the full trade the player that did this to me was an ultimate player top ranked in that gamemode — including chat messages, the offer, and the trade screen.

Once I traded the key, the player opened it immediately and did not send me any gold.
I tried messaging him, but he never replied. I later reported him with my video proof, and he was banned for 30 days.
But the real problem? 😞
Even after the scammer was banned, I never got my lost key or gold back.

That’s why I believe there needs to be a clear, official rule and compensation method for cases like this — but only for game modes where keys are non-physical.

This will:
✅ Protect players who provide full evidence
✅ Reduce scammers as they know it is their loss
✅ Increase trust between traders
✅ Encourage more fair, active trading in gamemodes

Example(s):
1.
🧍 Player A trades a Seasonal Key to Player B.
💰 Player B agreed to pay 300 gold, but never did.
🎥 Player A has a full clip and chat showing the agreement.
🧾 Staff verify and deduct 300 gold from Player B’s account, crediting 300 gold to Player A

2.
🔑 If the scammer opened the key or refused to pay and the item can’t be restored easily,
then the scammed player should receive 1000 iron back — the same amount needed to buy a new Seasonal Key.
Meanwhile:
🧹 The scammer’s rewards obtained from that key (like gear, tokens, etc.) should be deleted from their inventory.
If they sold those rewards to others, those items should also be removed from the new owners,
and those innocent players should be refunded the gold they spent — ensuring full fairness.
Example Case:
🧍 Player A trades a key to Player B.
💢 Player B opens it instantly, refuses to pay, and gets rewards (say, a rare pickaxe skin).
🎥 Player A has full proof of the trade and chat.
🧾 Staff delete the pickaxe skin from Player B, refund 1000 iron to Player A.
If the pickaxe skin was sold, remove it from the new buyer and return their gold.

⚠️ If the scammer does not have enough gold for example he has to give 300 gold but he has 200 gold so we can do something like remove 22 gold from his account s punishment asnd give the victim either seasonal key in that partucular gamemode or the iron it costed him to buy it.

⚠️ This is for all gamemodes except: opskyblock and factions as there is a physical key so no trade issues.

⚠️ Condition: Only valid when the victim provides full clear evidence — including chat where the gold amount was agreed and the moment the trade happened.

The rest depends on the developers and staff members 👨‍💻👩‍💻 — whether they decide to bring this change or not. But if implemented, it will greatly help low-ranked and honest players who currently lose their hard work and effort to scammers 💔.

I truly hope this suggestion gets reviewed and added, as it will promote fairness, safety, and trust throughout the entire community 🌍 — making PikaNetwork a better, more secure place for all players.

Since I personally faced this issue and lost my Seasonal Key, I kindly request that if this system is accepted, I may please be awarded my 1000 iron back as part of a fair resolution 🙏.

The whole thing is not about to be able to trade seasonal keys it is about how scammers trade it first then not give the gold afterwords

As answered in previous similar suggestions, the lead developer has already said this can't happen. A compensation system would inject new resources into the economy (like creating gold/iron from nothing), which causes severe inflation and ends up hurting everyone's progress in the long run.

That's why the policy is to ban scammers but not provide refunds, to keep the overall economy stable. It's a tough but necessary call for the health of the server.

It can also be like when a player scamme(he knows he scamming)som1,and it's proved he scammed after he get unban it can show like 'this player has scammed players before,be careful' to avair people about these scammers

i agree but the scammer only gets 30 days ban, i think that is too light for scamming innocent player, especially a top ranked player scammed me, he should be well reputed but no he is a scammer, if suggestion does not get accepted no problem but the scammer must be banned like for the entire season all is auction house listings should be removed and he can join in next season only this prevents the scammer from coming n the original season and making profit on the illegally scammed item/key

and also what about the iron wasted by the victim he could have sold that key and easily got 200 gold. but because of scamming he makes a big loss and the scammer just gains 1 key for free without any hardwork and just has to wait 30 days
