Join Command

help me plsss... i know i have a bad connection... but did the server have a command to join a server??
ex: /join creative or something like that... that would be help full..
because using the compass not helping me at all... also the character server..
looks like writing some commands response more faster than do that other thing for me..

Normal players dont have access to use /join (server). But you can download optifine and bring down your view distance. It should help with any lag.
