Iron Currency

Detailed description:
Currently, iron currency has little to no value in the server’s economy. It is almost “dead” because players rarely use it, and the only way to obtain it is through competitive payouts or specific events. This creates a problem where only a small portion of players (mainly top competitors or pay-to-win players) can access or benefit from it.

As a result, free-to-play (F2P) players and casual players have very limited opportunities to earn and use iron currency. This reduces overall player engagement and makes the economy feel unbalanced.

To improve this, iron currency should be reintroduced as a functional and active currency within the server. Players should be able to earn it through more accessible methods such as grinding, missions, or smaller-scale activities—not just high-level competitions.

Additionally, keeping the 7-day limit system is a good idea, as it prevents inflation and ensures that players don’t hoard excessive amounts. This creates a controlled economy while still allowing players to gradually earn and spend iron.

Iron currency can then be used to:

Reason(s):
  • Iron currency is currently useless
    Players have no real reason to use or care about iron, making it a dead part of the economy.
  • Only competitive players benefit
    Iron is mostly obtained through payouts, which only top players can win—leaving casual and F2P players out.
  • Unbalanced economy (P2W dominance)
    The current system favors pay-to-win players, while free-to-play players struggle to progress.
  • Lack of accessible earning methods
    There are no consistent or beginner-friendly ways to earn iron currency.
  • Expensive items (like keys)
    Keys and important items are too costly, making them unreachable for most players without spending money.
  • Low player motivation
    Since iron has no real use, players are less motivated to grind or participate in events.
  • Wasted potential currency system
    Iron could be used as a balanced secondary currency, but right now it's not contributing anything meaningful.
  • Reduced player engagement
    A dead currency reduces trading, activity, and overall server interaction.


Example(s):
  • Daily / Weekly Missions
    Players can complete hard tasks (mining, farming, PvP, etc.) to earn small amounts of iron currency.
  • Over Priced Iron Shop System
    Add a special shop where iron can be used to buy:
    • Keys
    • Boosters
    • Rare items
    • Temporary perks
  • Trading System
    Allow players to trade iron currency with each other, making it part of the player-driven economy.
  • Battle Pass / Progression Rewards
    Include iron currency as rewards in seasonal passes or progression systems.
  • Login Rewards
    Daily login streaks can give small iron rewards to keep players active.
  • Auction / Marketplace Use
    Let players use iron currency alongside gold for certain items in auctions.

Does the "Ironshop" sell other items than the Goldshop? Because we can buy the items for iron in the Goldshop too.
The trading is a bit complicated, because players can then use alt accounts, voting for every alt account and buying 30 seasonal keys or something expensive.
