Suggestion:
Instant respawn in your own goal

Detailed description:
I TheBridge, when you jump in to your own goal you go right threw it until you hit the void. Therefore it take a while to respawn when you go into your own goal. So it meant to be that the moment you touch your goal you respawn instead of going right threw it.

Reason(s):
This will make respawning easier and it's the real way to play bridge. It will also help you to defend your goal because people just wait till you jump into your goal and since it takes so long to respawn your opponent can easily score so it would really make an impact.

Yeah this should be done its annoying because when you die you respawn instantly however falling in your own void will take time to respawn!

While I partially think this is unintended, I believe it should stay this way. In my eyes, your own goal should not act as a quicker void, and if people are good enough to get you into a position where you need to jump into your own goal, try to avoid being forced in a situation like this, it all depends on gamesense.

I think It's a good idea to implement this, this really takes like 2 seconds of your time, and with bridge being a very competitive game, It's quite possible for others to take as much advantage as possible in those 2 seconds where you go through the portal lmao

regarding this, having "bad gamesense" doesn't necessarily mean that you would have to void in your own goal. Lot's of good players do that as well, for logical reasons, eg: to save time when you're at your own base. In other servers comparatively, when you fall into your own goal, it respawns you almost immediately

Just because other servers do that doesn't mean we should also do that.

Having bad gamesense doesn't mean you'd need to void into your own goal, that's correct, but if you know it takes a bit of time to respawn in there, you can still try to avoid getting in situations where this is required, and extend your gamesense with that.

I get what you're saying about gamesense, but here it is an issue that not having an instant respawning when you fall into your own goal will delay response time and increase the risk of losing. Even skilled players might need to void in their own goal to save time and spawn quickly. It isn't just copying what the other servers do. Game play isn't cluttered up with issues that put a player at an extreme disadvantage. Instant respawn would be a step toward fluid and balanced gameplay.

That's my point because it would save time and not cost you a goal

Definitely agreed, it's not about gamesense sometimes because when your opponent is about to score then you have to jump down and kill them, therefore you then jump into your goal but since it takes longer by the time you respawn the player with be making another run
