Suggestion:
Increase Stone & Cobble XP.
Detailed description:
The suggestion I want to put forward is to increase the XP gained from mining Stone and Cobblestone. At the moment, both only give 1 XP each, which makes them the least rewarding blocks in terms of progression. When a player is working toward higher collection levels, especially around level 12 or 13, the requirements become extremely high. To reach those levels, a player may need to mine nearly 400,000 to 500,000 stone or cobblestone blocks.
This means that, compared to other ores, stone mining feels boring, repetitive, and unrewarding. For example:
My suggestion is simple: raise the XP for Stone and Cobblestone slightly, so that grinding stone collections becomes more balanced, fun, and rewarding. This won’t make stone overpowered, but it will make the collection grind feel worthwhile instead of a boring chore.
This means that, compared to other ores, stone mining feels boring, repetitive, and unrewarding. For example:
- Coal Ore gives 3 XP, and Coal Blocks give 6 XP.
- Diamond Ore gives 4 XP, and Diamond Blocks give 8 XP.
- But Stone and Cobblestone remain stuck at only 1 XP.
My suggestion is simple: raise the XP for Stone and Cobblestone slightly, so that grinding stone collections becomes more balanced, fun, and rewarding. This won’t make stone overpowered, but it will make the collection grind feel worthwhile instead of a boring chore.
Reason(s):
The main reason behind this suggestion is that the current XP system for Stone and Cobblestone is unbalanced compared to other ores. While ores like coal, diamond, emerald, and others give triple or even more XP per block, stone and cobblestone are left at only 1 XP each. This makes players feel that their effort isn’t being properly rewarded.
For example, imagine a player needs to unlock a certain armor upgrade that requires a Stone Collection Level of 12. To get there, they must mine hundreds of thousands of blocks at 1 XP each. This quickly becomes one of the most boring tasks in the game, especially when compared to mining other ores that give multiple times more XP. Players are discouraged from focusing on stone collections because the grind feels endless, and they often prefer to mine other ores instead.
By increasing Stone and Cobblestone XP, the game would:

By increasing Stone and Cobblestone XP, the game would:
- Make progression feel smoother – players won’t feel like they’re stuck grinding the same block forever.
- Encourage collection grinding – more players will try to push their stone levels instead of avoiding it.
- Reduce player boredom – mining stone would no longer feel like a pointless grind.
- Maintain balance – even with higher XP, stone won’t become stronger than ores like coal or diamond, since the increase would only be moderate.
Example(s):
- Cobblestone = 1.5 XP, Stone = 3 XP (recommended)
- Cobblestone = 2 XP, Stone = 4 XP
