Improve the /level XP System for KitPvP
Detailed description:
Current Situation
Currently, XP can be earned through many different actions such as:
- Winning a KOTH
- Capturing a Stronghold
- Opening keys
- Using pets
- Capturing outposts
- Winning Warzone events
- Completing prestiges
- Reaching killstreak rewards
- Killing a target
While there are many ways to gain XP, the system is extremely slow and overly complicated.
The amount of XP required to level up is very high, which makes progression frustrating.
Suggested Change
I suggest adding or replacing the current system with a kill-based XP system, where:
- Players gain XP every time they kill another player
- XP gain is consistent and meaningful
- PvP becomes the main and most reliable way to level up
Reason(s):
Main Issue
On a KitPvP server, players who actually play the game as intended (PvP, fighting, killing players) are barely rewarded.
At the moment:
- Players who grind PvP gain almost no XP
- The highest /level player is around level ~20 (by opening keys)
- Most XP comes from opening keys, not from PvP
- This makes the /level system illogical and unbalanced for a KitPvP server
Additionally, XP is awarded for completing prestiges, even though there is no prestige system on KitPvP, which makes this source of XP confusing and irrelevant.
Example(s):
I got an account with 3.5k kills & 0 death and i'm level 5
