I was hacked...

I'm not sure where I should make this post tbh. I made a support ticket on Sunday and updated it today, but I don't know how long that will take and I need this dealing with pretty fast as whoever is using my account has no right to be using it.

I've been away for 18+ months as I'm a full time college student and have not played since October 2016, and I come back to find my password for Pika not working, even though I had it written down and knew exactly what it was.

So a couple of my friends who also play on regular SkyBlock told me they saw my username playing several times with my name set as the cringeworthy "Umars Best Bae" and "PinkGirl". I also just got a post on my profile from the aforementioned helper saying "it's been a long time". The same helper also sent my friend a message claiming he sent inappropriate messages, and the same friend recently had his in game name changed and cannot access his stuff. I don't know what is going on here but something feels out of place. I shared an island with this friend and it's odd that both of us had our accounts hacked.

Anyway, neither of the above names were set by me, and I just checked and I now have 3 marks against my name for things I wouldn't/didn't do. Now, I've changed the password for my account and I've got someone tracking it for me, but I want to ensure it doesn't happen again. Anyone who knows me from before will know I would not dream of insulting staff or swearing in the chat. Check my forum posts, I was always helping other players out and being active on the server.

I'm aware of the claiming accounts are hacked post, and I'm not a kid nor am I stupid. I do not click on any advertisements, my passwords are long and secure, and I DO NOT share my details online or with anybody in fact. However, I would like to apologise to the staff at Pika, on behalf of whoever it was for the "bad behaviour".

What I would like to know is, how did someone manage to get hold of my account and successfully log in to Pika using my password, and then reset it, without someone on the inside basically fishing it out and handing it to them?

Hello player.

The only staff members who have access to the login and password related plugins are the owners and the manager. I can say for a fact that they would have no motive in hacking an account on their own server. During the previous year, there have been a few security breaches, so it is possible that your account was compromised at the time.

I would also like to inform you that I too personally saw you on the server a lot during 2017. And the person who hijacked your account also has been impersonating you on discord. And from personal experience, I can tell you that he is very immature and a pain to deal with.

Your grammar is correct and without any blunders, so I can fairly say that you are not the same person that I've been dealing with for the past year.
