Hit detection

Am i the only one that feels like the hit detection on the new practice server is kinda weird? I get like 30-50ms and I'll see the player flashing red indicating that I've hit them but those hits don't even register sometimes. Also, when I play against someone with higher ping barely any of our hits register. Out of every 8 swings that I do on my opponent only 1 of those registers. I really don't know if this has something to do with my connection or if this is a bug on the server (I doubt it's my connection since I got pretty good ping on here and I've never seen this happen before).
