It doesn't matter. You log in with the command /login PASSWORD. For example, if your password is 123 you type /login 123 to log in. You don't type /login <123> or /login (123). These brackets are just here to indicate that you don't type the exact word "password", you type your own password word.
Also, if you think something should be "fixed", it's not a suggestion, it's a bug report, so make it here - https://pika-network.net/bug-report/.

Well, he's talking about "typing ( ) instead of < >". It makes me think it has something to do with the new login thing because it is the only place where there are these - ( ) - brackets, while in the chat the message is with the other ones - < >. https://prnt.sc/vprxbl
Anyway, some more information about this suggestion would be helpful. If nothing else this will get denied because of lack of information since it's completely unclear what this is "suggestion" is all about.
EDIT: If people write a password like <123> instead of 123, they can just relog and try again. Anyone can figure that out eventually.

Going to jump on this <potato> password topic, how long does it take for a potato to process a reset password request? Did one on Monday.

It usually takes a few days or even a week. It depends on the staff's activity.
