Heart Protection timer in Op Lifesteal
Detailed description:
Hello Pika Staff Team

I hope you’re all doing well! I’d like to suggest a small but impactful quality-of-life improvement for OP Lifesteal: adding a Heart Protection Timer after a player dies.

After a player dies and respawns, they would get a short protection window (around 30 seconds). During this time, they can still die, but won’t lose another heart if killed again.

Right now, many players — especially newer ones — end up losing multiple hearts back-to-back because of:
Spawn trapping
TP kill traps
Or just being targeted right after they respawn
It creates a frustrating experience and sometimes causes players to leave, even though OP Lifesteal is meant to be fun and competitive.

Makes PvP more fair and balanced, without removing the challenge
Protects players from losing hearts unfairly
Helps new players enjoy the server longer
Still keeps fights intense — you can die again, but you won’t be punished twice for one mistake
I believe this small change can go a long way in improving player experience without changing the core mechanics of Lifesteal.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this!
Much love to the amazing Pika staff and community

Reason(s):
OP Lifesteal is one of the most intense and competitive gamemodes on PikaNetwork — and that’s exactly what makes it fun. But even in a competitive environment, balance matters. Right now, players can lose multiple hearts unfairly in a matter of seconds just because they died once and couldn’t escape a trap or PvP zone. This can be demoralizing, especially for new players who are trying to get into the game.
A short Heart Protection Timer doesn't take away the thrill of PvP — it simply gives players a fair chance to recover, think, and fight back. It adds depth and fairness, and helps build a stronger, longer-lasting playerbase.
When players feel like they lost because of skill — not mechanics — they’re more likely to keep playing, improve, and enjoy the experience. And that’s how community loyalty grows.
In the long run, this small change could reduce early quitting, encourage risk-taking, and make the gamemode more rewarding for everyone — not just the strongest.
Example(s):
If a player dies in the boss area, they often rush back to try and recover their gear. But since the boss area is so close to spawn, they usually get killed again and again in the process — sometimes losing multiple hearts while just trying to get their stuff back.
A Heart Protection Timer would stop them from losing a heart every time, while still keeping the risk and PvP challenge alive.
