Detailed description:

the heart bank is a secure storage system where players can deposit their extra hearts for safekeeping and withdraw them later when needed.its like a piggy bank for hearts which then prevents them from being stolen in combat or something.the heart bank could also have interest like for example if u deposit 5 hearts in the bank and takes them out 5 days later,they will get like 2 heart bonus so instead of getting 5 hearts back they get 7.There could also be a heart loan category where you can loan hearts.for example if i loan 5 hearts from the heart bank,i have to repay the hearts in 24 hours or else 7 or 8 of my hearts will be taken away.​

reasons :
players wont just waste and throw the hearts away but instead put them in the heart bank
prevents people from completely losing all their hearts.since they can take out a heart loan,which makes the gamemode way more satisfying for people to play.​

Example(s):

lets say if player A has 30 hearts and deposits 10 hearts into the heart bank,and later dies 6 times.They can go to the heart bank and withdraw 6 hearts back.

lets say if player B has 30 hearts and takes a heart loan of 5 from the bank,if they dont repay the 5 hearts in 24 hours 7 or 8 hearts will be taken away (not permanently) so people cannot abuse the loan thing.

lets say if player C stores 5 hearts in the bank for a week they will get 6 or 7 hearts back instead of 5 when they withdraw the hearts.​

also make it so u cant get more interest from the bank after 1 week unless u withdraw the hearts and put them back again (so people cant just go afk for 40 days and get like 100 hearts)
