Detailed description:
Concept:
The minigame is rather straightforward: two teams compete against one another on a huge, symmetrical map. On opposing sides of the map, each team has a base that is diametrically opposed to the other. "A territorial part of the map that is occupied by a team" is the best way to describe a DTM base. Three fundamental qualities make up the bases. Monuments, iron block piles, and spawn points. Each team spawns on their side of the map at a certain spawn point which is blocked off from building so that spawn camping isn't happening.
The goal of each team is to rush the enemy monument/relics and destroy is 100% to win while protecting their own. The monument is usually made out of a few blocks of obsidian but to make it different it can be made out of more amount of wool.
Maps:
The maps are large and come in various different shapes. There can be large and smaller maps depending on the player count expected and can either be constructed with a rectangular or round(oval) foundation. Maps will always be in the sky consisting of two islands with a gap of void in between. They can be built around various themes like desert , castle , watchtower etc. For a twist hidden tunnels can be added to get across islands safely with beneath the main islands which many players wont be using except few.
You start the game with some basic items when you initially spawn in. The basic equipment varies from map to map, but it typically includes stone sword, 2 gapples , bow, arrows, food, blocks (oak planks, glass, logs). The armor is usually colored and can be a mix of iron and leather. The leather armor is dyed of the team color for players to recognize.
For pika a villager/npc can be added near the spawn point of both teams After each kill the player will get a emerald which they then can use to buy better pickaxes from the shop after they get a diamond pick it stays with them throughout the game which they can use to break monuments similarly shears can be added for maps with wool based monuments. When a team has won, the winning team is announced in the chat, and everyone instantly becomes a spectator till the next round begins.
Monument health is specified on the scoreboard along with kills and deaths (a k/d ratio can be added to encourage players)

This is a game proposal for what I shall be referring to as Destroy the Monument
I listed a set of recommendations to modernize this mini-game, to make it fit in 2024 so that it doesnt come across as copied version of the original game.

- External resources are those blocks that hold particular significance. The map developers purposefully positioned them in different locations. As an illustration, consider tripwire hooks, diamond and gold blocks, and enchanted tables.
- Chest resources are treasure troves that can be discovered throughout the map, including unique objects and blocks. As an illustration, consider xp bottles, enchanted books, bookshelves, potions, flame bows, tnt, enchanting tables, and cobwebs.

Reason(s):
Target Audience:
Including the game could help you grow your audience if it appeals to a particular demographic that your network want to attract. Most players play minigames on the server like bedwars, kitpvp and practice , this game would appeal to them as a fun alternative to the previous games with constant map switching and fun items to play with
Increasing Popularity:
An increasing number of players may indicate that the game is becoming more and more popular and thus inviting more players to join across the cracked community.
I believe this would be a long and time consuming task for the devs but it may be worth it rather than skypvp as it was so much fun to play back then.
