Full PvP Revamp

Detailed description:
As we all know that PvP is kind of dead in op prison with only a handful of players PvPing for fun while all the others focus on mining making the game repetitive and boring. These are some useful things that can be added to PvP to make it interesting.

Full PvP Revamp:

1️⃣ PvP Ranks System ⚔️:

Players would progress through ranks like Bronze, Silver, Gold, Elite, OP and Legendary by gaining elo from kills, winning events and capturing outposts. In order to ensure a balanced system, defeating stronger players will be more rewarding than farming weaker players and alt accounts. The gain of elo would be based on factors like opponent's rank, current win streak and overall performance in the fight. Alongside progression, players will also lose a small amount of points upon death, which adds a risk factor making it more interesting.

The ranks should be in the form of a range like :

Bronze - 0 to 499
Silver - 500 to 999
Gold - 1000 to 1499
Elite - 1500 to 2499
OP - 2500 to 3499
Legendary - 3500+

Each rank would unlock special benefits including PvP and Pickaxe enchants, tags, titles and token, exp stats boost. There will also be a chance to get crate keys for ranking up or gaining a certain amount of elo. Each rank would give PvP buffs like 1-2% damage increase, 1-2% resistance, etc. The players having the highest rank or the highest elo can also be awarded some amount of pika iron at the end of the season. To maintain the interest of the players in PvPing, the rank could start degenerating after a fixed amount of inactivity and thereby loosing all the benefits given from the ranks.

2️⃣Advanced ELO gain/loss system 📊:

Base Elo : Base Gain : +25
Base Loss : -20

Rank Difference Modifier :
Higher Rank:
Victory gives +5% elo gain per 100 elo difference ( cap at +100% )
Loss gives -5% elo loss per 100 elo difference
Lower Rank:
Victory gives -5% elo gain per 100 elo difference ( minimum : +5 elo )
Loss gives +5% extra elo loss per 100 elo difference

Win Streak Multiplier :
2 wins -> +10%
3 wins -> +20%
5 wins -> +35%
10 wins-> +50% (cap)
Loss Streak Multiplier :
2 loss -> -10%
3 loss -> -20%
5 loss -> -35% (cap)

Performance Bonus :
Quick kill -> +5-10% ( depending on how fast the player has been killed )
No damage taken -> +10%
Comeback win -> +15%

Final ELO = Base × Rank Modifier × Streak Modifier × Performance Modifier

3️⃣Buffing Outposts 🏟️ :
The current outposts are good but they need to be buffed a bit so that they engage more player activity around them.
Fracture - > 3x beacons and 20% faster crystals
Arcane - > +70% enchant activation boost

All these features will make people fight for the outposts in order to claim the buffs for their gangs and progress a bit smoothly especially at the start of the game. This is done while keeping in mind that the minimum captured time is 15 minutes only and thereby it gives more boosts.

4️⃣New Event - Last Man Standing 🏆:
The Last Man Standing event will be a great addition to the PvP area because it will shift the focus of the players from mining to participating in the event because of its high rewards. This will also interest those people who are bored of the KOTHs as they have been in the game for a long time and do not give such good rewards.

The event would follow a battle royale style and would have a shrinking arena so that players cannot keep camping in a small area and continue fighting with each other. It will be of only 15-20 minutes long. Power-ups like speed boost, strength and regeneration will drop randomly across the whole arena. Players would have the same loadout during the event making it a pure skill based PvP event. There should be custom event missions which when completed by the players would grant them healing materials, potions and a chance to also get more stronger gear. Each kill can grant them small rewards and gear. In case the event doesn't end in time, a Sudden Death Mode can be activated which can summon lightning strikes across the map, rain arrows on the players or environmental damage to force the final fights and determine the winner of the event.

The LMS event should be held every 12 or 24 hours so that the rewards do not become too overpowered.

The winner of the event would be rewarded with a custom LMS lootbox having a chance to get pretty good rewards. The rewards in the lootbox will be:

Token/Exp boosters:
100x - 200x (15%)
200x - 500x (8%)
500x - 800x (1.5%)
Beacon Booster: 50x - 150x
Coins ( 20,000 to 75,000 )

Addition of this event will make players to participate in PvPing and will shift their focus from the tedious mining to gain more rewards.

The LMS Champion tag could have an animated colour effect (e.g., red → gold → yellow) to make it more visually appealing and rewarding for winners. for eg :

5️⃣Upgraded Rewards 🎯:

The rewards from KOTH is very basic and there is no reward for being killstop or having a set amount of kill streak. The rewards from KOTH must be boosted like instead of giving bombs and normal sets, it can give high amounts of exp and beacons, gaps and egaps (which play an important part in PvP) and even introducing new sets with different abilities apart from the sets obtained from battle keys. Apart from this there must also be rewards for getting killstop weekly as some of the people who like to PvP are just PvPing and getting nothing in return. The killstop system must be rewarded just like the gang payouts but not with pika iron but with something else like crate keys, random enchanted books, PvP sets, kill effects, certain new tags based only on PvP.

6️⃣New PvP Currency 💰:
Introducing a PvP currency (just like abyss coins) will also be a great idea. To make use of the new currency, each rank would unlock special benefits including PvP and Pickaxe enchants, tags, titles and stat boost like tokens and exp. The PvP and Pickaxe enchants would be upgraded by the use of the new PvP currency and after reaching a certain level of the enchant, players would need to use coins to unlock more levels just like the normal pickaxe enchants.

Instead of using exp / tokens to buy special sets players can use the PvP currency to buy all the PvP gear necessary to rank-up which would conserve exp/tokens for mining purposes.

Some of the custom enchantments are :
⛏️Pickaxe :
•⁠ ⁠Cataclysm Core : Triggers a multi phase chain reaction sensing shockwave in branch forms and destruction in the mine
•⁠ God's Fortune : Boosts all the tokens, beacons and exp stats.
•⁠ ⁠Eternal loop : Repeats all the active enchants multiple times (eg: jackhammer x3, thor x4)
•⁠ Celestial Rupture : The sky cracks open sending energy beams across the whole mine

⚔️PvP :
•⁠ ⁠Blood rush : Gives a short speed boost after securing a kill, allowing players to quickly engage in consecutive fights.
•⁠ ⁠Combo Surge – Increases damage slightly with each consecutive successful hit, rewarding players with good aim.
•⁠ Armour Breaker – Allows attacks to ignore a percentage of the opponent’s armour exactly like the vanilla breach enchantment.
•⁠ Second Wind – Grants a small heal when the player reaches low health, with a cooldown to ensure balance and prevent abuse.

The new PvP currency would be earned by the following methods:
1) Killing Players ( Primary Source ) :
Currency will be earned on the basis of the opponents' rank and performance in the fight.
2) LMS event:
The top 3 players in the LMS event will gain high amount of currency.
3) PvP missions:
Completing certain missions daily would also earn the players more PvP currency.
4) Ranking up:
Each rank-up would give currency increasing everytime.
5) Bounty system:
Players can also place bounties on other players for PvP currency instead of only tokens.

Reason(s):
1️⃣PvP Ranks System:
• PvP currently lacks long-term progression, so players don’t feel motivated to keep fighting.
• A rank system introduces clear goals and milestones, making PvP more rewarding.
• ELO-based progression ensures skill-based ranking, not grinding or farming.

👉 Makes PvP a progression path, not just a side activity.

2️⃣Advanced ELO system:
• Rank difference scaling ensures high rewards for beating stronger players and low rewards for weaker players.
• Win/Loss streaks multiplier encourage consistency and reduces randomness in PvPing.
• Actual skill is rewarded by performance multipliers.
• Losing ELO adds a risk factor

👉 Overall: Creates a competitive and fair PvP environment

3️⃣Buffing Outposts:
• Current outposts do not attract enough players -> low PvP activity
• Stronger buff creates - epicenter for PvP fights and gang competition
• Early game benefits - progress faster and engage in PvP sooner

👉 Overall: Turns outposts into active PvP zones instead of ignored features

4️⃣LMS Event:
Current PvP events ( KOTH ) feel repetitive and outdated.
LMS introduces-
• Battle royale like fast fights
• Equal loadouts remove gear gap and p2w advantage
• Power-ups and missions add randomness and excitement
• High rewards attract players from mining and removes the bored feeling

👉 Overall: Makes PvP fun, fair, and skill-based

5️⃣Upgraded PvP rewards:
Currently PvP gives little to no rewards so players ignore it
• Adding rewards for killstop, and buffing KOTH rewards attract players to PvP more frequently

👉 Overall: Makes PvP worth doing regularly

6️⃣PvP Currency:
Allows controlled progression through enchants and gear.
Separate currency rewards PvP directly and mining indirectly.
Can be earned by multiple sources so that no single method is abused

Overall, this revamp transforms PvP from a side activity into a progression system, making the game more competitive, rewarding, and engaging for all players.
