Farm - No growth

I built a cactus farm earlier. I was in the island while waiting for cactus harvest for at least an hour, and I obtained zero cactus. None of the cactus (about 96) grew.


I assumed that perhaps, Pika do not support cactus farms. I decided to grow one cactus on the side, which grew extremely fast.


I am sure that other than the usage of a sand block, growing of cactus does not have any other requirements.
I'm not sure what the problem here is - please help me. Thanks!

It's cactus...cacti do not require water to grow. However, I'll try and check whether water is the factor affecting cactus growth, though I strongly believe it should not be.

Its server side, thats why its called op sb, its not vanilla survival
