Detailed description:

Making a positive environment is very important to us, which is why discussions related to drugs or drug slang have no place on the PikaNetwork Minecraft server. As a community, we strive to be fun, positive, and welcoming to gamers of all ages. Thus, we ask that you refrain from using drug related terms or references.

In an effort to maintain a healthy space, we urge all players to avoid conversations or slang terms regarding drugs and other harmful subjects. Any player found using such terms should be punished or muted

Help us sustain the PikaNetwork community so that everyone has an opportunity to enjoy playing without being exposed to harmful content.​

Reason(s):

We are aware that certain users have taken names such as (NameOnDrug)or (DruggedByName) and are calling themselves “drugged” or “drugging” other players. It crosses the boundaries of acceptable behavior and is bad to what we are trying to build here at PikaNetwork.

Most of the players constituting our community are below the age of 18, with many of them being and 16 years or younger. Therefore, we need to make sure that as a community we do everything possible to protect our young impressionable players from harmful or toxic content.

Using these terms promotes and introduces unhealthy and inappropriate concepts, especially to younger audiences that do not fully understand what they represent. It is everyone’s responsibility to ensure a positive environment for the community. Therefore, we request that harmful terms, whether in usernames or chats be completely omitted from all players’ vocabulary.​

Example(s):

While I do not currently have a specific example to present, I have seen instances where players use drug-related terms in usernames and conversations—terms like “drugged” or references such as “NameOnDrug.” I believe there have been past reports related to this issue that were denied or overlooked.

Given the young age of many players on the server, such language is not only inappropriate but also harmful. Allowing this kind of content can send the wrong message and create a negative environment.

I respectfully suggest that the use of drug-related terms be taken more seriously and made punishable under the server’s rules to help maintain a positive and family-friendly community.​

While I understand the intention behind promoting a positive environment, I believe this suggestion is too broad and could lead to excessive censorship. Terms like "drugged" can have multiple meanings in different contexts—such as gaming slang (e.g., "I got drugged in PvP")—which may not always refer to real-life drug use.

-1 it's not really needed as I've never seen someone actually talk about drugs in a serious way in here and as the other guy said I wouldn't like to get punished if I were to use it as a “slang”
