Bug Hunters / Beta Testers​

Detailed description:

Hello Staff & Players,​

People should be able to apply for the bug hunter position, where they can look for massive bugs such as dupes, or server crashes & easily report them to the developers. This would improve player's gameplay experience, have players gain recognition, server growth, more player involvement, less player frustrations, and a lighter workload for developers.​

Reason(s):

1. Improving Experience: This could improve the experience for players playing the game because bug hunters would be looking for bugs unlike normal players who could exploit or not want to report it as it is too much of a hassle. These bug hunters would have more in-depth descriptions of the bugs, provide ways to fix them, or suggest a better method to implement the feature without the bug.
2. Recognition & Server Growth: People can be recognized for their hard work helping the server by having a discord role & a rank in-game. These bug hunters would be working hard to find these bugs and help the server. More bugs would be patched faster, and therefore could grow the server more.
3. Player Involvement: Having a bug hunter role would make people motivated to find bugs to help the server. People would help the server not just by passively playing but by help pointing out the server's issues.
4. Server Performance: The performance of the server would increase & include less maintenances, a significant amount of dupes, server crashes, large exploits would be patched because of the bug hunters' work. This would make players convinced to play more, invite their friends, and have a overall better experience on the server.
5. Player Frustrations: Lots of people have experienced annoying bugs that have made them lose a lot of things in the game. By offering a bug hunter position, bug hunters could help find the bugs that developers may have not thought of, resulting in less player frustrations with losing items, money, and etc.
6. Developers: By offering bug hunter positions, the developers can work and focus more on new features making the server more exciting and fun to play instead of spending more time looking for and patching glitches.

Because of these reasons that you have read, listed above, I feel like you would agree that a bug hunter position could benefit the players, the developers, and the server itself in numerous ways.​

Example(s):

A page would be made like the Team Events Page's quality assurance but for the whole server in general instead of just for events. Players could apply to be a Bug Hunter on a page that looks like this. The bug hunters should also be able to gain access to features early to test it, aka a beta tester, to help patch bugs before the server is released to the public.​
