Detailed description:

In some gamemodes advertising is a huge part of the gamemode. Often the chat is full of players showing their auction sales, or asking for offers on something.​

I will explain my idea for the gamemode SkyMines. Once it is clear how it works, this can be individually done for other gamemodes too.​

Basically, at some spots around the map there are boards that can be rented, and written on.​

Once a billboard is rented, the owner / island can write their ad on it.​

As you can see on the image, the person can write on the signs to advertise something ingame-related.​

Additionally, a title can be set (it would be below "Advertisement").​

The boards have to be rented, which costs gold or beacons.​

‣ 4000 beacons or 200 gold​

The ownership of a billboard expires after 24 hours, and a chatmessage will tell if a billboard is free again.​

‣ The billboard West is now free again.​

Optional: The price of a billboard can variate, depending on the location (Spawn > Random other spot)​

If you want to spend more time into developing this, you can use maps that display the advertisement.​

Reason(s):

Advertising as a huge part of some gamemodes. As no player can be online 24/7 to advertise their auctions and Island shops, this feature would bring new, exciting opportunities and solve this problem.​
