Bedwars Skill-Based Matchmaking​

Detailed description:

Skill-Based Matchmaking, what is it?
Skill-based matchmaking (SBMM), also referred to as matchmaking ranking, is a form of matchmaking dependent on the relative skill level of the players involved.

This would be added in this form.

Once you click the bedwars GUI, there would be a extra sword option, which would put you into people on the same level as you. This could reap more rewards for the player, serving initiative, and could provide the game with a strong foundation for further tournaments with requirements i.e a ELO/Level of so and so

This could prove to be a better system than most servers, and you could probably monetise it in some way without making it pay to win, for example some rewards only being unlockable with ranks and so on.

You would also most likely need a certain amount of wins to join, just like in PracticePVP​

Reason(s):

This would:
- Give people a reason to join
- Make the server stand out
- Set groundworks for future events or tournaments (especially since hypixel closed theirs)
- provide players with extra reasons to buy ranks
- prevent low levels being with high levels​

Example(s):

With the current system, a level 1 player is just as likely to be with level 5’s as they are with level 100’s, which demotivates them from joining back​

• This does not fit the spirit of the game.
• It would drastically increase queuing times.
• Good players don't want every game they play to require all of their effort. It is not enjoyable having to try your best every single game to win.
