Addition and Improvement

Detailed description:
This suggestion will contain 2 main additions and some small improvements.
Make sure to use dark mode when reading this suggestion.


Current /level progress visible using a bossbar


The idea is to add a bossbar for every player, showing their current /level progress like the following image.
Note that only one of the images bossbars are shown at a time. I just put all of the colors into the image, to not create 7 different images in here.


If a player has 4300/10000 exp mined, the bossbar will be filled 43%. Once the player reaches the next level, the bossbar updates and sets its value to 0, but also upgrading the Level number by 1.
The bossbar can be toggled by every player individually in their own /settings.
As there are 7 different colors that can be used for the bossbar, I had the idea to implement these colors level-based:
  • Level 0 → 29: White (sorry light mode users)
  • Level 30 → 59: Yellow
  • Level 60 → 89: Green
  • Level 90 → 109: Blue
  • Level 110 → 124: Red
  • Level 125 → 139: Pink
  • Level 140 → 150: Purple


Nether dungeon

Just today some rewards have been changed, so I will consider that.

First of all, we currently have 2 overworld dungeons. Secondly We have difficulty "Easy" and "Medium".
So let me describe the new Nether dungeon...

Magma Dungeon

Rooms: 10
Difficulty: Hard
Boss: Ekravos
Rewards:
  • Normal Luck Of The Sea Book
  • Normal Efficiency Book
  • (Normal Power Book)
  • Regent Rank Voucher
  • Seasonal Royal Rank Voucher
  • Seasonal Crate key (1x)
  • Seasonal Booster Queue Voucher (New item - details below)
  • Mine Cubes Drop Booster x5 (Personal) 60 minutes

Prices are up to the developers. Seasonal keys were removed from the rewards last night, so I'm unsure what a fair price would be.​

The dungeon can be entered using 15 Quartz Dungeon Tokens, which can be traded for 64 COMPRESSED BLOCK OF QUARTZ each. The map will be (obviously) Nether-themed, with Fortress and Bastion vibes.


General Dungeon changes
  • Rewarding experience as a contribution to /levels after a successfulrun
    • Pirate Dungeon: 500 exp
    • Desert Dungeon: 1000 exp
    • Magma Dungeon: 1500 exp
  • Make the Desert Dungeon parkour easier! Implement such one in the Magma Dungeon

Booster Queue

Accessible through vouchers, the booster queue works like this:
  • In the /booster menu, a booster can be activated. Afterwards, Shift Clicking a booster of the same kind will add it to the queue.
  • Once the first booster runs out, the next booster in the queue starts. That proccess continues until the queue is empty.
  • The voucher can be obtained from dungeons, seasonal keys, etc.

Block break notification toggle

Small addition to /settings to toggle this message:
Hey! Sorry, but you can't break that block here.
It's actually annoying when mining.

Reason(s):
While mining, a commonly executed command is /level. This is because players are excited about how much progress they have made.
Mining is often boring, you see your pickaxe swinging and ore blocks breaking the whole time without any progress. With the bossbar implemented, this would give players motivation, time would not feel that slow😭 - all because we see progress - the bossbar updates every single 1%. Also /level can not be executed during combat.

A third dungeon would fill the last Difficulty spot perfectly. Dungeons are very exciting and fun to play. I don't think there is anything more to explain. Clearly one dungeon space is missing right now...
The rewards are fine like that in my opinion, but just an idea.

Rewarding some exp for successful runs is reasonable I think. The fact that the Desert Dungeon Parkour is way too hard for a group of 5 players in the difficulty Medium should also be understandable...

I have had some issues with booster duration and timing for dungeons so far. This feature would also be useful to save time when mining / killing bosses / killing mobs.

Simple and absolutely necessary addition. This message spams the chat like none other. When mining, it is nothing rare that the pickaxe accidentally touches the unbreakable floor...
