Add a currency filter in auction house
Detailed description:
Add a currency filter to the auction house in game modes that support multiple selling currencies. This filter allows players to view only items listed with a specific currency. For example, selecting the "Gold" filter will display only items being sold for Gold.
Reason(s):
With this filter:
Without this filter:
- Players can quickly find items sold for a specific currency without having to scroll through mixed listings
- Players can better understand how certain items are typically valued in a specific currency
- Price-based filters (like lowest price, highest price) become much more useful as they won't be skewed by items listed in different currencies
Without this filter:
- Difficult to find items being sold for a specific currency
- Sorting becomes misleading and unreliable. For example, items listed in Gold (which are typically sold in the tens to hundreds) will appear first when sorting by lowest price, even though the player may be looking to spend a different currency
Example(s):
OPPrison is one of many game modes that supports the Gold currency in the auction house menu. At this time, in this game mode, the majority of items being sold are under a Gold price tag (which is subject to change as demand fluctuates). One of the effects of this is the difficultness in finding items being sold for tokens (which is the primary currency of OPPrison).
