Reason(s):
This would be great for the server for multiple reasons, let's start with the fact that there is not a lot good cracked practice servers when it comes to these modes. Pika Network would get more players coming from different servers to either duel or practice. On daily basis people from 1.20 modes such as Survival and Classic SkyBlock go to different servers to pvp. This means Pika will lose those players because there isn't practice mode for those versions. It would be smart move to add this gamemode firstly because of the 1.9 PvP community on Pika and then to bring more players from another servers.

-1 Good idea but unnecessary and less relevant/important to current server issues

While there are players who enjoy 1.9 PvP mechanics, the majority of the player base may still prefer the earlier versions, especially since a large portion of the community likely gravitates toward more traditional PvP mechanics (pre-1.9). Introducing a mode that caters only to the 1.9+ crowd could isolate a chunk of players who aren’t as into those mechanics. Implementing a whole new mode would require additional server resources to support the new gamemode, potentially dividing the player base even further across different modes. If the player count isn't strong enough for 1.9+ PvP, this could lead to fewer players per match, which makes the experience less enjoyable. As the suggestion mentions, there are already several cracked servers that focus on 1.9+ PvP modes. While bringing these players to Pika could be a goal, there’s a risk that those players may be more dedicated to other networks that specialize in this style of gameplay. Pika’s primary strength has been its broad appeal to a variety of Minecraft players, and adding a niche mode could potentially narrow that focus. Adding specific kits and mechanics for 1.9+ PvP would require extensive balancing to make sure it’s fair and enjoyable for players of different skill levels. If not handled properly, this could lead to an uneven experience for those looking for a competitive PvP environment.

So in this case while it’s an interesting idea, I believe Pika Network might be better off focusing on the modes and versions that currently attract the largest player base to avoid dividing resources and community attention too thin. But good suggestion overall and I see your point.
