Anti-Spam Too Strict on Party Updates

I was muted after sending “2/4 iyn party” and later “3/4 iyn party.” These were not identical spam messages but updates reflecting players joining the party. The meaning changed with the player count, so they should not be treated as repeated spam.

I understand the need for anti-spam measures to keep chat clean, but similar-structured party updates appear to be getting flagged unfairly. It would be helpful if the system could distinguish between actual repeated spam and legitimate status updates.

This is constructive feedback to improve moderation accuracy and prevent false positives in the future.

Hello Mohid_Ahmed,

Sorry, but it is clearly stated that excessively typing/counting numbers falls under this rule. So, your mute is valid, and you cannot do anything about it; your only option is to wait out your punishment.

Hey there! As Ankush said, this punishment is truly valid. Let me explain, you did say that those messages were not identical but they indeed were. The rule clearly states that having already one or two identical messages and spamming it thrice would lead to breaking the rule for spamming.

Here, you said ‘iyn party’ thrice which lead you to a mute. Hope you got it all clear.

Have a wonderful day!

Hello,

I understand the importance of anti-spam rules and keeping chat clean. However, I respectfully believe that a 30-day mute is disproportionate for this situation.

The messages I sent (“2/4 in party” and “3/4 in party”) were updates reflecting changes in party size. They were not sent with the intention to spam or disrupt chat. While they may have been structurally similar, the meaning changed based on player count.

Even if this was interpreted as spam, I believe a warning or short mute would have been more appropriate for something minor and non-malicious.

I respect the rules and will avoid repeating similar updates in the future. I kindly request that the punishment be reconsidered or reduced.

Thank you for your time.

A 30 day mute all depends on the number of times you spammed and got muted which are considered ‘offences’. You can read the rules to know the offences of a particular punishment.

This already means that you’ve already warned once and been muted thrice for spamming. Hence, you got muted for 30 days which comes under 5th offence.

yeah

1st offence: warn

2nd offence: 1day mute
3rd: 3 days (i think, not sure)
4th: 7 days
5th: 30days

(correct me if im wrong)
