SkyMines longer skymines season

I mean we know that a season is about 8 weeks long. Around that time the payout will be. There's also human ability to count the days. So if you need to know when the season ends, you will just go forums - see the payouts and use maths. I don't think hiding timer will change anything. I'm neutral on longer seasons

hiding timer doesn't mean just hiding it, it means expending the last payout date, so when there will be an update, devs will make an announcement about it and that's when payouts should happen. so now everyone thinks last payouts means season is over after a week

I don’t think the season length needs to be increased. All gamemodes usually run together, and seasons are managed in the same way for everyone. You can always check the last payout using the /payouts command, and normally the season resets within a few days after the final payout.

Also, if you notice, whenever a new season starts, there are a lot of active players. Even in the middle, people play, but after 6–7 weeks many players naturally stop. That’s normal in almost every gamemode, not just Skymines.
