Suggestion:
Removing flips

Detailed description:
In pika network coin flipping and experience flipping is called gambling in other ways which is a wrong thing naturally i suggest removing these flips in here for the reasons listed below as i said

Reason(s):
1.this supports and promotes gambling which is not good

2. Gambling is an addictive behavior which encourages gambling in later life since tge population is mostly kids and teens

3. No offence but many religions refuse gambling and people make sins gambling and the seem to find that they cannot stop this behaviour

4.Makes peoples later life bad by doing bad things like gambling

Hey there, @Funberry65

I am going to upvote your suggestion for the following reason(s):

  • All of your points are valid.
  • Gambling is an addictive practice.

Goldflip has already been removed globally from the server. Rather, just don't involve yourself in gambling using coinflip with in-game money. Goldflip was removed because it was a currency that could be purchased from the store, and gambling with gold directly meant gambling with real money.

Thank You

These flips are part of the game as Pika developers removed goldflip to ensure a better environment for players removing the rest of the flips like exp flip Money flip esc flip will not be a good idea

Yeah but some players i mean ahm most start like this they are just curious and they start to do it unexpectedly finding that they cannot stop this behaviour they will just be more encoraged in spending their things if they lose they get annoyed and tell lets restart but if he wins he says oh ok my luck is too good and ill win again he gets greedy and goes for more not mentioning that the loser will lose a lot of worth of money and exp

Neutral, though I am completely against any gambling, the one which involve real money has been removed already. It is not like that players are mandated to gamble, its an side option for you to use your currency. I do not mind if it stays or to be removed.

-1 the remaining flips we have in the game are all collected through ingame grinding , so its not really harming you unlike /gf ' s (which were removed recently). Yes , these practices in game might carry onto one's personality and may lead to irl gambling , but its not really the server's fault right?

Personally, I deny the removal of the currency flip system (EXP, Money, Gold). At the end of the day, there are actions done within the game. If you are that serious about the environmental factor of gambling, then gamemodes like OpFac should be removed altogether. These type of game modes includes high toxicity, which will also affect the changes of teens and children. And even more game modes with payout, because due to the encouragement of payout, it encourages teens and children to play for an unnecessary amount of hours in games, affecting their health, and those who pay to win are paying unnecessary irl money to buy virtual wins.
Overall, I'm only saying you cannot blame gambling on the system itself. Instead, it should be based upon the player themselves who is doing it. There are many other servers (Including Jartex), which have currency flip implemented, and there is also include teens playing in those servers; you can't really tell all of them to turn this system down. If a player wants to gamble, it is not turning down of currency flip can stop them.

If You Agree:

But teens and children have a limited amount of time to use devices from parents so it is alright to keep payouts but parents do not see flips and let us do what we like on thr computer and as i already said

So it gets an uncontrollable behavior

I do understand the statement. But like I said, the closing down of a system on a server cannot stop a player's gambling intention. Even if you close the system on Pika, there is more on other servers. On the other hand, if you look at online in-game gambling from a different perspective, the action of gambling online will give a test to players who have gambling addictions. A test to see if they can hold themselves back. This can teach them a lesson on what the price is when it comes to gambling. If they hit the wall in losing everything, the worst they will lose is some in-game currency, which will prevent them from doing it with real money in the future as they grow up. The Internet is an open area; you cannot just put someone in a cage and say it is the best for them. They need to actually personally go through them and know it for themselves to actually know if it is good or bad. It is the same as pressing the button. If someone were to tell you not to press the button, would you press it or not? If you press it, is it your fault or someone else's fault? The in-game currency (XP, money, Gold) is stuff that the player obtains on their own; they have the free will of how they will manipulate it. If they lose it, it is their own action that caused it to happen. There is no excuse for saying, "they are little, they know nothing". The fact that the parent is allowing them to come on the server on their own without stopping is not the server's fault. The teens can read the text and know what commands they are typing in. Players who play or are starting to play the system have a full consciousness of what they are clicking on. Especially the fact that when a player enters the flipping, it is not them automatically entering a flip when typing the command, but they click on the player they want to flip to start the flip of the coin (A confirmation page so they won't accidentally enter a flip). Restating what I said, the worst that will happen is they will only lose some in-game currency, but will gain a lesson for the future in not gambling with real-life money when older, since they will know the price if they were to enter it.

Then why did they remove gold flips ??
And also they should remove the crates as they are also just g@mbling
Ah yes, lets remove one of the biggest income sources on the server... About goldflips, gold is purchased with real money, pretty sure that was the reason goldflips were removed. Unlike gold, other ingame currencies dont involve real life money.

To be honest most people were only addicted on goldflip since it seems like it is an easy way to earn IRL Money (aka gold in this server). Coinflip or xp flips are not the same as they are gamemode specific, and most people would only do these flips if they secure sufficient amount of that currency, betting on the flip as like "I do not mind loosing this amount of coins/xp" rather than using flips to get a faster progress in the gamemode.
