i was playing bedwars when this guy said L. i got ragebaited so i asked for 1v1, and they accepted. in voidfight they had the same ping as me (120-130), however they kept hitting me from 6+ blocks away. (according to another experienced player, they were also hitbox but idts).

It seems that he did cheat. This is very similar to a module called "Backtrack" in hack clients. The principle is to deliberately delay one's own incoming packets to attack you at your "past" position. Clearly, this method can achieve the effect of "Reach" when you are being knocked back. Since players with high network latency can experience similar phenomena even without cheating, anti-cheat measures are relatively lenient in detecting Backtrack. In fact, the anti-cheat system used by Pika would not allow cheaters to use real Reach. However, if you want to formally submit a report, providing a longer video might be more helpful.

Thank You. I did not record any more games with the person but I will try to send them duel requests and record the duels. I have also reported them in-game and on the website other than forums. I did not quite understand the "Backtrack" thing but I thank you for trying to elaborate.
