Maybe list your pc specs? Optifine will help any computer. Also check the pika optimization thread. MAke sure your computer isn't in power savings mode too. It makes a huge difference- Ivan Cheng

Just want to help out.
nvdia shadowplay is really, really good if you have a nvdia gpu. It allows you to record AFTER you spot a cheater, and click a hotkey to save the last 5 minutes or so.- Ivan Cheng
