    +1 I do like the idea of this actually, as I tend to play when the server is more quiet so can be sitting around on those barriers for 2-3 minutes. It's a simple addition, would be nice to have.

    -1 While I can see the benefit of this in solo games, some people like to have it when playing team games. Let's say your team mate has a wooden sword, and you upgrade iron -> diamond you can drop the iron one to them. It also means you can store your old sword in an ec if you'd like to, which...
