    ??? Doesn't every server have its own unique knockback? I swear, no 2 servers feel like they have the same knockback.

    Yes, it's a bug. Your options are: You could use a Skin Changer Mod, obviously. People can already see your skin on their screen, so the mod will fix the problem on your screen Connect to the server via a proxy, which also seems to fix the problem.
