Giving a second chance after ban​

Detailed description:

Adding a new rule to the appeals which allows the players to appeal asking for a second chance and be apologetic for their behaviour and misconduct.​

Reason(s):

Hey, am coolkid4y2000 and I am a OP Lifesteal player I have been noticing since the past few months that the player activity status on the server has been growing downwards, it was rising upto 2000-3000 and was at its peak but after that because of the strict rules and regulations the players started eventually getting banned even those who spent days of their determined playtime to PikaNetwork and at last getting banned for doing a major rule break.

My suggestion is to add a new rule to appeals of letting people apologise for their actions and be sincere about it and let them have a second chance so they can realise their mistakes and would not repeat it but its still upto them,
I think this rule will bring back the cravings of the other old players to return and spend some time on the server who have spent dollars to the server and have left in the frustation of getting banned permanently.​

If they are permanently banned, they don't deserve a second chance, and staff don't ban them on their first offence ( except cheating/doxxing and other stuff) . If they are temporarily banned, they should wait till it ends

They have been pretty clear about the fact that they wont give second chances, pika constantly reminds the players to check the rules and to not break those rules. And permanent bans are only issued for consistent rule breakage (except for ban evasion), players are already given multiple chances before being banned/muted permanently. And for temporary punishments, them being able to just wait out their punishments and rejoin the server is the second chance.

rejoining is the second chance I agree but losing everything is a frustation isn't it

they shouldnt have played for like months and have not evaded and did any other mischiefs on other accounts, my concern is for those people

ban evasion is for player who are banned on one ign, yet are still playing with another ign. The ign they used to evade the ban will be banned permanently, meanwhile the account that was banned beforehand, if the ban was on it was temporary their ban would expire after the time of the punishment is done and they can rejoin through that ign. That's their second chance. The punishment for ban evasion isnt an IP-ban.

your post isnt clear about that, its also not clear about whether you are talking about all permanent bans or just the permanent ban for ban evasion

Most offences have a grace ban / warn / mute. Almost none of the offences give you a direct perm ban. (apart of being blacklisted, falsifying evidence and a few others)

If you can't learn from your mistakes, a perm ban is deserved.

Discrimination is still a pretty major offence, its probably the 3rd most common ban staff have done after Spamming and Foreign Language.

If the rules were less strict, there would be a lot more racism, and then you guys complain that Indians get hate on Pika, they get called poopy-skinned and all.
