Suggestion:
/report username rule broken evidence

Detailed description:
This is a big change, but I don't know how people would react to it.But my suggestion says to implement /report <username> <rule broken> <evidence> so that people can report easily, and instantly when a player is breaking a rule. having to go to the forums , report it, would be a longer process, thus I'm suggesting it.
Adding another command, for info on why it got denied could also be implemented

Reason(s):
- Easier to punish(Rather than going to the forums)
- Shorter reporting duration ( You can report instantly, after a person broke a rule)

Example(s):
adding a command called /report info, would also be great. Where we would be told if it got "Accepted", "denied", or "Duplicated", and they could send some website link which leads to this response.

I will try explaining why this can be both a good and a bad thing at the same time without disclosing much...

Actually, we need to be precise in our speech when discussing this reporting system. So it ain't a simple matter of good or bad

My mistake...

Now, the current /report command isn't directly linked to the anticheat plugin. It's a separate entity, a custom plugin that transmits reports network-wide to a place where the staff can review them. But don't assume that your report of (for example...) "georgiepro2018LezLOL" is going to be immediately acted upon. It's not a live player report system like the one here on forums

What you're doing when you report is either flagging a blatant violation that somehow slipped past the anticheat, like someone flying. or you are expressing suspicion about another player's behavior

And let me tell you, providing evidence in this context is about as useful as a screen door on a submarine. These reports are reviewed in-game, where staff can't exactly pull up your meticulously compiled photo album of infractions (yeah, idc, that was funny)

And here's another thing, the /report function isn't available to just anyone. You need to have your email linked to your ingame account. It's a small barrier to entry, but it's there for a reason, so that stu- I mean incompetent reports don't slip through

Now, when a staff member does review a report, it's not instantaneous. It could be minutes, it could be hours

Some reports never see the light of day because the alleged cheater has gone offline or the anticheat has already dropped the banhammer

It's a lot more practical to keep it on the forums. It'll be way easier to keep track of everything every user has reported.
I believe our current system is fine

Yo bro, your suggestion is non sense thing. "You can report instantly, after a person broke a rule", meanwhile in your suggestion you would need to input a your own evidence for a cheater. How does it make anything faster then? Is forums reporting even slow? Wouldn't say so. And no matter if its ingame or on forums, it can't be "instantly" as you said. You need to upload your clip, eventually crop it, and so on, and after that you can use that evidence. It's surely not instantly, and almost to not faster at all than the forums. Also another impractical thing, assuming that you would need to input a link for your evidence in the command, and the minecraft chat length is 256 characters, how would you put some longer links?

I don't deny you're wrong in the last few comments, but the "256 letters" is pretty achievable, how do you think staff punishes lol

Reporting players should be kept on the forums. The current system is ideal as it features proper storing of all the records. Also, you don't need to be extremely fast in reporting players. If you got proper evidence, you can report them at a steady pace.
