Playercouncil
Detailed description:
The playercouncil will operate as a bridge between the server and the player to provide a better communication between the server and the player.
The playercouncil must contain 7 members than will be democraticly elected every 6 months or every year. Players could apply for a position at the election list and will be accepted by staff. Active players of that server can then elect that player to a position in the playercouncil. A player should not be in the playercouncil of more than one server.
Members of the player council can not be staff and should not be seen like that. They aren't their to officially provide help, although that isn't forbidden ofcourse. They will just be like any other player.
The job of the playercouncil is to provide information to the staff and capture information from the players itself. That's why these members must be active. A few examples of tasks they should do:
- Capture information from staff about future happenings of the server.
- Provide news on the forums about new features.
- Keep track of the server's activity and search reasons for it.
- Keep track of the player's unsatisfactions and pass this through staff.
- Capture information about certain server closings or bugs from staff and provide this in a normal newsformat, so that players actually know what's going on.
Don't forget, these people must not be staff, but just active and normal players.

In my opinion the communcation between the server and the players is really going downwards. It's hard to reach staff to get certain information about when things will happen and why certain futures are suddenly removed.
It would be nice if there was more information available about the server. This would keep players satisfied.
I am not stating that this a bad server, but the communication is, as I said, going downwards.
