right now the auction houses are more like one - time - only player shops
to suit the name and to enhance the gameplay, players can put up an item on the auction house for a base price. players can now bid on the item for up to 3 days in the currency set by the seller. as soon as a player bids the money is taken away, given back when someone outbids. the player cannot remove their bid if no one else bids on the item.
once the auction is over, the item is sent to the buyer via mail delivery and the currency is received by the buyer
gold can have the same tax as the current auction house tax ( 5 gold) to prevent flooding of the auction house
the current auction house system can also remain for small sales and will have a limited up time of 12-18 hours with the same tax
the players can bid in percentages (5, 10, 20, 30, 50) of the original prices to prevent back and forth of the currencies ( especially gold) and a mandatory gap of 20 minutes is set between each bid
the final bid is locked 10 minutes before the item is sold to the highest bidder

instead of managed the task of asking all the buyers and periodically asking for offers in the chat, i can put it up in the auction house and let the players buy it at the highest price, preventing spam in the chat and reduces gold lost in tax from constantly varying prices.
