Well, I would like the server to broadcast bans and perma mutes. This will scare other hackers and spammers.
Leading into my other part..
Pika is not taken seriously.
I have joined other cracked servers and they have a small amount of hackers. You know why? Because they are taken seriously.

Hackers laugh at Pika.
This needs to stop.
Pika needs to be taken seriously.
Im not sure what it is, if staff isnt strict enough? The server name? Im not sure.

All I have to say is it needs to stop.
Period.

My first guess what that it would be a great idea. To be honest, jes this option would definitely lead to less
hacker while the broadcasts are active and hacker are banned with public messages or tweets.

But i want you guys, even the idea has something, what it leads too. The broadcasting means less hackers while they are active
means --> Staff need to be active as well ofc.
But what is with the hours staff is not active? Most of the time I am online on Pika is in the early morning and late evening,
where sadly nearly no staff is ever online anymore. I know the problem that we have many hackers and I am part
of the people who are mainly online to catch those players and prevent other (legit) player not to loose their stuff and fun
while playing.
The broadcast will lead to more hackers while the staff is offline. And it will lower the activity of legit player at this time too.
Because I am a fan of the idea of the broadcast itself, I want to note and suggest that the broadcast (if it comes) have some random shoutouts, so the hackers still have a reason to, or better not to hack as much as they would. Randomly shoutouts in the broadcast or server (or tweet) would help to prevent main times where hackers are online, but still lowers the amount of them drastic.

If bans are broadcasted, hackers will understand that there is staff online, and they will turn them off.
if they scare they turn of the hack
and after 10minute they turn on
back .-.

I agree to all of this, but want you guys to think about what can happen too.

To the main idea I have to say:

What if Pika got more staff members which are more active, and staff will always be online on every server? It would definetly be a better server. :3
That has no relation to the suggestion. It is a completely other thing to discuss.

Hackers need to be scared.
And since the people are getting banned i dont see why their name shouldnt come up since they are doing one.
As for Timezones staff try their best to be spread out on timezones all i know is every hour there is always at least 2 staffs on but yeah.

True, you guys do definitely hard work and most of the time there are staff member online.

Actually, It does, If there were more staff members, and the bans were broadcasted, The hackers will have NO time to hack if there is a lot of staff and constantly banning a hacker, The other hackers will be "scared" and will not hack, And so the proccess continues...

Suggest it ^^ maybe it works :3

Maby autoban aswell?

Autoban is part of the PAC (Pika Anti Cheat) which is working fine. You can see the autobans if you check
the "Bans" section. :)

Edit:
"Autobans" are noted with "banned by console"

But hackers don't check for that, they won't be scared by that. For all they know it could be made up. Most hackers don't even log into the server website. We need to scare them, make them afraid.

Ah ok, i may understand you wrong.
If you want to check my latest post in this thread i talked about that too.
If I am right, you are scared that the broadcast idea itself do not change the behavior
of the hacking people. Kinda agree to that, but there are people with premium accounts
and these players do not hack blatantly and try to hide as much as they can. They do not want to loose their
account. For those players the normal broadcast would be enough.
To make the broadcast more efficient, I´d suggest that there are tweets about bans or public ingame messages
like the "Welcome on Pika Network" if u enter the server (maybe disable that for people who are in combat).

check the list of helpers you can see that they mostly concentrated on a few timezones. My suggestion is that you get more staff from different timezones to fill the void hours because that is the time when i observed that more hackers are online

+1, But I am kinda thinking like @VeggiDay : If there are no bans being broadcasted, hackers know that there is no staff online which will increase the amount of hackers. To make this work there needs to be staff at almost all time broadcasting at least 1 ban.
