can i watch ads on skyblock

On classic skyblock, the ad points system doesn't work even though you'll see system messages ingame telling you about it. You can click the link that the message provides and be able to watch the ads, but the points don't accumulate. What I did was switch to creative to watch ads and I was able to get ad points on there. So you might give that a try. Hopefully someone will get it fixed for classic skyblock one of these days.

Tip: Get a browser that has auto refresh and vpn like Opera Mini. Since you have to be online in MC to get the adpoints, you can afk your account in pvp servers like Factions using an afk pool so you'll get adpoints even if you're not actually in front of your pc to refresh the ads.
